IBPS PO 2015 Result would be declared by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for all the candidates who appear in any stage of the examination cum selection process which comprises of four stages – prelims exam, mains exam, document verification, and personal interview. Result shall be declared in three stages – result of prelims exam, result of mains exam, and final merit list which would contain names of the candidates finally allotted a bank on the basis of their preferences and merit score. Prelims exam was conducted on 3 and 4 October 2015 and its IBPS PO Result is expected to be issued in 3rd week of October 2015 in online mode only.
IBPS would not deliver the Result of IBPS PO 2015 Exam to candidate’s postal address. Alternatively, candidates can access Entrance Corner in order to directly land at the result checking page. IBPS PO 2015 Result cum scorecard would be issued in query based format where candidates have to supply some details correctly (as found on the admit card of the exam). The candidates who qualify in prelims would be called for mains examination which is scheduled to be held on 31 October 2015 (subject to change). Similarly, the candidates who qualify in mains examination would be called for document verification cum personal interview round which is scheduled to be held in 3rd week of January 2016.
The criterion of selection of candidates for the next round is based on the comparison of score obtained to IBPS PO 2015 Cutoff marks. It would be set differently for each category of the candidates. Reserved category candidates would have lower cutoff benchmark to cross. Details of cutoff marks can be seen in the scorecard itself. It is necessary to note that cutoff would be applied at sectional as well as aggregate level. An estimate says that the cutoff is likely to be around 40 marks aggregate (estimated sectional cutoff: 8 marks in English, 8 marks in QA, 9 marks in Reasoning).
The process of checking the Result and Scorecard of IBPS PO 2015 is completely online. It can be checked on the official website of IBPS – www.ibps.in. Candidate must have access to computer system and internet connection for this purpose. On the homepage of the website, he can locate the link titled as “CWE-V PI/MT” which would take him to the exam specific webpage. On the webpage, a candidate can check the link to see the IBPS PO Result cum scorecard and click it. Once the link is clicked, result portal would open which would require roll number/registration number and date of birth/password.
A candidate would be able to see his result, scorecard, and qualification status after pressing the submit button. He can proceed to take its printout for future reference. It is to be noted that no hardcopy of the IBPS PO 2015 Result or scorecard would be issued at all by the institute. Result would be the sole criteria of succession into the next round of the selection process. Final IBPS PO Result 2015 i.e. the merit list is expected to be announced in 2nd week of March 2016 and it can be seen in the similar method as mentioned above. Finally selected candidates would be put under probation period ranging from 1 to 2 years.
