You must have computer system and internet connection to check the result of the examination. University would not send the IGNOU OPENMAT 2015 Result to a candidate’s registered postal address. Check the process here:

• Access the official website of the university on your computer system.
• On the homepage, find and click the link to check the respective result.
• Enter your roll number and date of birth correctly in the respective fields.
• Press the submit button to check the IGNOU OPENMAT Result 2015 and scorecard on the screen.
• Press print button to generate its printout. Keep it safe till admissions are complete.

Importance of IGNOU OPENMAT Result 

To select the candidates in the next stage of admission process, a selection parameter would be applied which is called as cutoff. Some factors which are decided to decide upon the cutoff are – number of candidates, number of available seats, reservation norms, and exam difficulty level. Any candidate scoring marks more than or equal to it would be selected in the list released for IGNOU OPENMAT Result. If any candidate fails to do so, he would be dropped from the admission process. Thereafter rank list would be generated which would contain names of the candidates in the decreasing order of marks. Marking Scheme in IGNOU OPEN MAT Exam Result

The exam would contain 200 multiple choice questions. For each correct answer, candidate would get 1 mark. No mark would be cut for incorrect answer. Total marks in the examination are 200. Higher the obtained score better is the final chance of selection.
